Tiger Uppercut!

It looks like Bruce Lee may be getting his own Graceland! We get wind of this glorious news from the dragon caves of Yahoo:
A developer who owns Bruce Lee’s old home in Hong Kong lobbied the government Thursday to turn the property into a museum. Yu Pang-lin met Thursday with Hong Kong’s commerce and economic development secretary about his plans for the two-story house, currently used as an hourly motel.
The 86-year-old developer-turned-philanthropist had put the property on sale to raise money for victims of the recent earthquake in China’s Sichuan province, but changed his mind after fans of the late martial-arts star expressed worries about the building’s possible destruction.
He’s willing to donate the property, where Lee lived in 1972 and ‘73, and wants the Hong Kong government to set up a trust that will hold the property and spearhead efforts to plan and raise funds for the museum, said Michael Tien, a local politician who attended Thursday’s meeting.
Yu Pang-lin I salute thee!
This is fantastic news, I went to Hong Kong when I was 17 and would gladly go back. My next journey there will now (hopefully) have the Bruce Lee museum on the itinerary. Brruce Lee was an outstanding and legendary action star, taken from us far too early. He still had so much to do and teach.
The heart of Yu Pang-lin is as big as a house he is donating.
We will be sure to follow this story, and hopefully get our hands on pictures from inside the museum post completion.
If I get the chance to visit the home, I sure will! I just wish I could have met the man!

First let me set this up;
When I was younger, say around 10 - 13, my dad, sister and I all decided to try our hand at making a film. Just something for fun to pass the time and also spend quality time together doing something fun. We actually used an old Packard Bell Windows 3.11 to scroll text across the screen using its generic screen saver as well as wallpapers and the soundtrack to Jurassic Park.
Well years half passed and now I am 28 living in South Carolina instead of Louisiana with my family. The last week of June 2008 my parents came to visit and we had a great time. Right before they were packing to leave we decided that we should go ahead and make a remake since I have now own my own multimedia company making short films and what not so….

Here is the latest list of videos I edited for promos!
Of all the things said about George Carlin over the past few days, I like what Jon Stewart said on the Daily Show most: he’s getting awfully tired of people who we need leaving us. But as Stewart also said, the good thing about Carlin is that he left us “hours and hours of video.” iTunes has posted a page of George Carlin’s famous standup to honor a comedian that I and many, many other comedy fans looked up to for laughter and inspiration.
If you need a place to start, the “seven dirty words” monologue is probably the most famous, but Carlin often said that his favorite performance was the “Jammin’ in New York” show — he said it was the first time he’d done longer pieces, and talked about stuff that he really put his heart into (it’s actually the show that was used for the Moment of Zen on the Daily Show). Definitely a great listen.
Of course, it’s probably not quite right that iTunes’ system automatically listed “Concert Tickets” as an option on the page. But in the world that Carlin worked his whole life to show us, big companies doing stupid things is nothing new.

Since this show ended, I went back live to my show and got alot of great responses and emails from everyone watching. Had no idea he had so many live viewers! Maybe I will go catch some episodes now. I remember back in the day I made some beats for Andy Milonakis. Maybe he remembers me and can let me crash on his couch if he lives in LA!
If the tom green link goes down, you can always get it from my flash version here:
