Timelapse (Creating the designs)
Nov 20th
Here is a video of me at work at the news station creating some animated maps and also designing the new theme banner and such for my website. I have been thinking about ideas for new tutorials lately and making more timelapsed videos while I am working on things for clients. Not just graphic work but music and video production as well! Then if you have any questions I could use that as basis for new tutorials. I want to get more into it like I used to before so please comment on this page what you are interested in learning how to do. Even post a video of examples and that could better help! So enjoy the timelapse video and rate it, if you like it I will surely do more of them for you guys!

What to Include In Your Design Contracts
Jul 26th
If you’re a freelance graphic designer (or any profession for that matter) and do not have contracts or standard terms and conditions that you provide your clients to sign prior to starting a project… well let’s just say you’re silly. You WILL at some point need it to protect your business, as for the reason I am writing this is due to a recent incident in which my contract protected me.
Building your own design contracts isn’t always easy—there’s much to include, but once it’s written and out of the way it’s as easy as hitting ‘attach’ and ’send’ in your email. Often at times, client’s ask specific requests so I can easily tailor mine to fit their project if need be.
Instead of covering each and every angle of a design contract, below I have listed the basics and essentials to include in your standard graphic design terms and conditions or contracts. Feel free to add more in the comments below.

337Studios.tv just keeps getting better
Jul 24th

Its been a long time since I started doing my own webcast. It actually derived from first being a podcast, then a webisode and finally I just decided to start streaming live webcasts using ustream.tv. Well im still using Ustream but alot has changed since I first started. I used to use WebCamMax for all my on air graphics and videos, I still do partly but now I got a better peice of software I been testing out called VidBlaster. Not only do I have that program to make switching between the different cameras (which right now I have 3.5, the .5 being skype video calls) but I also have started adding a new graphics and animations package for the show as well as designed and coded the hell out of my new show page.
Thats really the biggest part that makes me smile right now, the new show layout. Instead of being all confused when you get on the show on what to do, everything is right there for you to understand and get to. All you need to see is my show and the chatbox to be able to chat with me and whoever I have on as guests. So really, when you have a chance, follow @337Studios and when we go live, come check us out. The show is still pretty much very random but I do have a consistency of drunken freestyles with arguments about technology products and whats new on the net including viral videos and cute kitty cats.
