I was tasked to make a day to day animation counting down the days to the Olympics. I am very pleased with my outcome. I do feel that I am getting alot better at jumping to the cause and making it happen better than before! So you guys rate and leave comments on what you think of this video animation promo I made. I have ventured into Justin.tv and Stickcam as well and even thought about paying for BitGravity, but I dont get any money out of doing any of the streaming so the shows have been slim on account of me deciding to do actual work for clients and not spend any time streaming any of the stuff. Most of the time it would tax my CPU which was the main computer I also produced designs and music on. Well I have recently got a netbook that can handle the streaming part as well as Apple allowing Ustream to have a native live broadcasting app on the iPhone now. So I am gonna try to go back to streaming alot more. Especially since lately I have had more musical clients as well as some fun video editing projects with DVD menus and stuff I could have been showing off but mostly what I miss is some freestyle friday and some just getting buzzed and hanging with a group of artists making stuff.


So with all that being said, I have talked with a few previous cohosts and artists and we will start bringing back the funk. Anyway we can, lol! So just like the previous show, I have a new setup for the more mobile version. Overall if your following @Skettalee on twitter then you should be fine to see when any of the versions of the show go live and can come join us in chat or even call in when we aren’t doing the mobile version. I have been thinking about ideas for new tutorials lately and making more timelapsed videos while I am working on things for clients. Not just graphic work but music and video production as well! I want to get more into it like I used to before so please comment on this page what you are interested in learning how to do. Even post a video of examples and that could better help! Another one of the Franchise Animations I create for work. This is a Sweeps animation so had to make a little bit of explosion going on. Nothing special but gotz to archive the life full of things I do. So when I die, all this can be deleted and no-one ever see it. Or… Well, ha, doubt there is an or! Enjoy the video and move on! Its a great way to easily go back to this project later and input new numbers and the whole project automatically changes to fit the numbers I input. Its great for the job I currently have in TV News because everything needs to be done ASAP and you have a really quick turn around. You never get enough time to make perfect projects and only enough time just to make it work. Hardly ever get more than a day to do an animation and usually just a few hours, so this saves me lots of time. Enjoy and if you need any help, let me know!

I just released a new website with a few other graphic designers called PaperYourScreen.com. This website is in its very beginning stages but overall I want a place to put all the designs I make for my iPhone as well as a place for other designers that I know. I hope this website will build alot more and mostly I just programmed the back end so its easy to organize and setup the wallpapers per each designer so far and there is alot left to add to this site, but please dont let that steer you away from checking out, rating and commenting on the various wallpaper designs that are made. If you have an iPhone, then this is a great add to your favorites when you want to go look for some new wallpapers.

Though at the time of this post we only have iPhone wallpapers, I am working on adding wallpapers for any screen size and type, hence the name paper your screen! So please go check out the webpage and start rating and commenting the images in there so far. The design of the site will be changing alot so please come back if not to see the wonderfully designed new wallpapers from various artists but also for the new layout changes we will be adding as we go.

Since a long time ago making alot of calm sounding ringtones for people I decided I should just go ahead and give you guys my complete list of this months ringtone collection. People seem to like to come to the site for my ringtones so what the hell right? If you are interested in getting your own ringtones made even songs completely made like with your own saying being chanted or what not, do not be affraid to ask for something in the comments or however you guys want to contact me.

This is just a zip file that’s about 26 MB full of m4r files that you just place anywhere and drag into your iTunes and then drag or sync to your iPhone. Others that are smarter and need mp3’s for whatever phone, just open these files and convert to mp3 using your favorite audio editor tool like Audition or Sound Forge or maybe Audacity if that opens that format. Pretty simple right? Good!

And what did our team decide to do? The forced Ben Hoover our main male anchor on the news channel I work at do some dancing. The video sets up the story of why so just watch that to find out the most of it. Overall, you know im crazy so I decided to jump in and start dancing with him. Well actually they asked me to but you know I dont turn down anything that gets my viewed by 1000’s lol. All I know is it was a fun time! Enjoy the video!

Think Monster Truck Rally but with Dinosaurs, yeah baby! So I filmed the setup but nothing I can show to you guys sorry. However the real action shots when the dinosaur came to life with the man inside (he said it weighed in around 100lbs on his back), this thing really acted real, dude inside mustpicture be a talented dino actor cause I was backing up sometimes. The kids around loved it so I took a bunch of pictures even though they never actually touched him once because they got scared everytime he moved.


When it was time to go live on the news, this thing went crazy and was attacking Ben Hoover (our anchor) as well as swinging its tail and hitting the lights over the studio. I was scared that one would fall! But overall, it was a great time and here are the pictures to prove it!

PS: The little boy in blue is Rick Henry’s (our sports anchor) son and during the weather part of the show he got loose and ran right to Brandon Lokits (our weatherman) and started helping him with the weather. We are live too, what are you going to do but play along. It rocked!
