    ]]>     Ever since I got my iPhone 4 I have been itching to try it out in some of my real world freelance projects. I have been doing a lot of editing with any kind of camera you can think of to put together great product for a client of mine named David Axe that takes from iPod’s with video cameras to HD Sony cameras all over Afghanistan and other places. We put that stuff together to make great pieces, so why cant I take this new iPhone 4 with an amazing high definition camera that takes great? shots under the right circumstances? Well I could, I already lined up and talked a client into letting me shot part of his upcoming music video with it, another one wants me to do every part of the project using it and now I already got a wedding video done!

    The wedding video was not planned at all but came out decent enough for them to at least have their greatest moments captured in high quality for them. I was at a friends wedding when I realized I didn’t see anyone with a professional camera capturing this great day so I dug into my pocket and said I got this!

    It wasn’t the most pleasant thing in the world trying to keep my phone straight the whole time for a Catholic wedding but I did fairly well for an impromptu videography session. The best part about the whole thing was the quick  turnaround. I shot it at around 2pm, edited a good bit on the way back home and put the final touches a few hours later after hanging around the house. Now its a DVD for them, the day after! I will work on my equipment to get more smooth shots and be more steady with the camera and turn this into one of my production tools. Here is a quick clip of the highlights, Watch it in HD!!!

    ]]>     Just created a cool little commercial for some summer savings in jewelry. It was a fun project to do a little showing off on. They had a quick deadline so I gathered all the assets and knocked this commercial out in a few hours. Came out pretty good though I am still tweaking it for their needs, here is a version for you all to see!

    I was tasked to make a day to day animation counting down the days to the Olympics. I am very pleased with my outcome.     Another one of the Franchise Animations I create for work. This is a Sweeps animation so had to make a little bit of explosion going on.     ]]>     I created this animation using mostly expressions in After Effects. Its a great way to easily go back to this project later and input new numbers and the whole project automatically changes to fit the numbers I input. Its great for the job I currently have in TV News because everything needs to be done ASAP and you have a really quick turn around. You never get enough time to make perfect projects and only enough time just to make it work. Hardly ever get more than a day to do an animation and usually just a few hours, so this saves me lots of time. Enjoy and if you need any help, let me know!
