My iPhone 4 FaceTime Commercial
Jul 27th
Been having a really good time getting a better grasp at 3d modeling, rendering and animating. There is a lot that goes into all of it but once you start to see final products coming out, it really feels good. I can say that it has taken me longer to get good pieces out of 3d work than anything else I tried to create. Thankfully, I have been making post worthy stuff lately so thats pretty much the reason for this post. Please feel free to leave some comments in the post to let me know what you think. Alice N 3D & Mall
Mar 6th
The whole family went to the mall today and Charity and I got our hair cut! Yes I even got my eyebrows waxxed! But the best part is we went to see Alice in Wonderland.
More on the movie after the showing… Here now, yep another iPhone blog!
…k, seen the movie and it was great besides the fact that Jack Sparrow was in it, lol. Nah I enjoyed it and really enjoyed my full day with my Charity and kids all about Columbia. Good times for sure!
Ps: Charity has nothing to say to you guys, rude huh?

Sneak Peek: Photoshop CS5
Jan 5th

There’s a chance you might already have seen this ‘sneak peek’ video, in which case forgive me. For those of you that haven’t seen it, read on and take the jump to view it.
This is actually old news, but I only just stumbled across it a couple of days ago. You see, news of Adobe’s next Creative Suite is so hard to come by that this is still the latest Photoshop development! In fact, since October, the only news they’ve released was to announce the cancellation of their Flash CS5 public beta. But can I say, having just watched the the ‘sneak peek’, I am now very, very excited about the possible applications for Adobe’s CS5. Give us more news, Adobe!
Do you see the 3D elements that have been thrown in? The wire frame, the joints (the kinematics!), the simulation of a paint brush’s tip… it’s really quite crazy. I know Adobe gets a lot of flak for the continuous milking of their cash cow, but after that video I could almost forgive them.
With no news since October, and their usual 18- to 24-month development cycle, we might actually see Photoshop CS5 and Flash within a couple of months. I’m positively eager to review both of them.

Video: StopMo
Jul 21st
StopMo The Movie from AdelBen on Vimeo.
StopMo is a Stopmotion and 3D short film made by five students at Supinfocom Arles in 2008. The story follows an archaeologist who “gives life back to an FX cinema studio that was buried under the ground,†resulting in a battle between a stopmotion animated King Kong and a computer animated T-Rex from Jurassic Park. There are also a few obvious references to some of our favorite films. Watch the short film after the jump.
