HOWTO 3 – Make a Logo then make it 3D!

I do a quick no explanation video on creating a logo and then turning it into a 3d logo in After Effects and then animating it. If you want to know the advanced tips on making this look really good then just send your requests in. I was tasked to make a day to day animation counting down the days to the Olympics. I am very pleased with my outcome. I do feel that I am getting alot better at jumping to the cause and making it happen better than before! So you guys rate and leave comments on what you think of this video animation promo I made. This was a fun project for me. Just a tutorial challenge that I took and learned a whole lot from as always. Great work with After Effects taking a regular shot of a guy in the day and making it look like a raining night time scene that has electrifying explosions and blood and gore! Enjoy it and check out the cool break down to some more recent Jay-Z that is fitting for the peice!

Another one of the Franchise Animations I create for work. This is a Sweeps animation so had to make a little bit of explosion going on. Nothing special but gotz to archive the life full of things I do. So when I die, all this can be deleted and no-one ever see it. Or… Well, ha, doubt there is an or! Enjoy the video and move on! This is a motion graphic I created with a few pictures of my girl friend and I and some Particular in After Effects. Great time and used some audio from a previous tutorial. This was fun and great training. Its always good to make something for your girl while your practicing motion graphic design at the same time right? Well its just some more work that I did, not like I dont post enough stuff up here already. I promise one day I will reorganize my portfolio and create a brand new demo reel for 2010. But until then, enjoy the short posts of small clips I have been making lately. Please rate and leave comments, thanks!

I created this animation using mostly expressions in After Effects. Its a great way to easily go back to this project later and input new numbers and the whole project automatically changes to fit the numbers I input. Its great for the job I currently have in TV News because everything needs to be done ASAP and you have a really quick turn around. You never get enough time to make perfect projects and only enough time just to make it work. Hardly ever get more than a day to do an animation and usually just a few hours, so this saves me lots of time. Enjoy and if you need any help, let me know!
