My iPhone 4 FaceTime Commercial

Been having a really good time getting a better grasp at 3d modeling, rendering and animating. There is a lot that goes into all of it but once you start to see final products coming out, it really feels good. I can say that it has taken me longer to get good pieces out of 3d work than anything else I tried to create. Thankfully, I have been making post worthy stuff lately so thats pretty much the reason for this post. Please feel free to leave some comments in the post to let me know what you think. Just created a cool little commercial for some summer savings in jewelry. It was a fun project to do a little showing off on. They had a quick deadline so I gathered all the assets and knocked this commercial out in a few hours. Came out pretty good though I am still tweaking it for their needs, here is a version for you all to see!

Found a great website on the net where an online community decided to put up the raw footage of a film they shot in London. They are giving us all a chance to be seen by using their already shot film to make your own story, be seen, ranked and possibly seen on the big screen.
They also have a section where you can support by donating your own film or music projects to use for future projects in the whole community. Think of it as an open-source film. I checked out the footage and it seemed to be all about a woman riding subways, going to work, playing her guitar and writing songs. I figured I could come up with something pretty good.
I contacted the site members and put my music in for future projects. I also starting doing some motion graphic logo work and decided to paste together a short film. It started sounding like it could even pass as a commercial for the company so I made it that way. Finally got my wife to work on a project with me, she did the narration and did a great job at it.
Go check out the website if you are at all interested in editing films. This is a great start and reminded me of some stuff I did when I went to film school. Edit your film, upload it to YouTube and then submit it to the site so people can start rating it!!!!
