I will be showing you the basics of creating Broadcast news ready maps using Viz Curious World Maps v8.3. This is an industry standard piece of software used to create map motions from location to location during news broadcast created by the famous Broadcast art and design company Vizrt. Now personally, I would like to say that this software is written poorly and looks like they should go back to the drawing board on a lot of details of how their menus and tools are placed and used. But, its what we have, what I had to learn and what I am now teaching you!

Charity and I have been wanting to just record our random conversations about various topics and put them online for a while. Now I guess is a decent time to start doing so, and matter of fact, we dont care how much they suck because we will just keep on doing it to archive the crazy thoughts going through our heads. For a great example, we decided to start the first one while we both sound horrible and sick from either head or sinus colds so enjoy it and please tell us what you think. We will be adding a website and twitter and area for it to be very easy to send in your input and even ask us questions. We promise we will make it easy to understand why we are doing this and why you are going to want to listen. Right now, just let us iron it out. We are in beta ok? Thanks for listening beta testers!

Twitter & Facebook on the NEWS

We are going to start working in Twitter and Facebook questions on our nightcast shows at 11pm Eastern in Columbia, SC on WIS TV. So, I jumped to the chance to be the guy that creates it. Pardon that I haven’t been keeping up with the website lately. I have been busy both with my previous job as well as interviewing to get the job I currently have and not to mention World of Warcraft. (The game(online world) I been playing as much as I get time to)
But now… I think things are starting to finally work out in life to give me a little bit more time to post on the site especially since there is internet at my new job as well. I am still spending time playing World of Warcraft and I cant even wait to finish typing this just so I can get on and see how much money I made off the Auction House last night. LOL I am working at WIS Channel 10 Columbia, SC as a Video guy in a company inside of WIS called Take 10 Productions. You will be able to see all the pictures I took with my camera phone just below this post. I will be a camera operator during the news as well as jumping around the whole company to every production environment.
My first day at WIS was today and it was spent doing paperwork, watching a sexual harrasment video and then watching them finish up the noon news broadcast. I got to check it all out and tomorrow I actually start my training so I can start working. My hours start at 4:30am to 1:30pm which they say I will be out by Noon or shortly after that each day. As well as Sundays doing a Football show from 7-9am. Like anything else, I am a bit nervous but love it just the same and taking everything 1 step at a time. I cant wait to get into the edit bay though and start really tearing up and showing them what I can do.
I am also still running my own company that has been doing alot better lately producing music for local artists and a few more video projects lately as well. I really just haven’t been posting alot because of being so lazy since I been working at the Roofing company. Now I think my body want be as worn which means alot more time to concentrate on my online presence. So until the next post, please enjoy these pictures I took on my camera phone and make sure to come back. Also, id like to see more comments on these posts so if you guys can start posting up your comments that would be great.
