Playing with Particles

I have been having alot of fun lately with a new plugin we bought at my dayjob called Particular. Now I already have this at home but my boss didn’t know too much about all this stuff, so I pulled out my iPhone 4 and took a quick video of me acting like im pulling things out of a drawer in our office, and then… BAM.. MAGIC! Thats what these computers give us! Enjoy!

Loading ...My First iPhone 4 Video (shaky)

I got to play with my friends iPhone 4 the other day while he was helping me move into my new house. I asked to try the iMovie editing feature out so ran around the house and grabbed footage of it. Very zoomed in and crappy but it was the first video to test it out. I dont like the wobbly effect you get when moving fast. I was in a hurry so there was no choice but to just grab something quick. I do like the editing features though!! More videos to come soon. Dont throw up watching this!

The influx of creativity

I started working recently with a local artist that goes by the name of Big Hodge. He is a great talent to work with and I am pleased to announce that we will be working together on alot of project. We started by creating our first song together in which I produced the beat and engineered as well as threw a few lyrics in there. But really, he is amazing and ready to go at all times. We will do what we can to get him on some episodes of the podcast. But the biggest things is we are going to start working together to produce both his radio show (Workers Comp Radio) and my web streaming video show (337′s DA SH0W) and combine our efforts. As well as bringing more visuals than you can imagine. We already have a music video for one of his songs in which I linked a sample video in the post for you to check out. Also in this post is a link to listen to our first song together called “Rock N Roll”. Hope you guys enjoy it and please keep coming back to the site because it will all be posted up, trust me!

I do a quick no explanation video on creating a logo and then turning it into a 3d logo in After Effects and then animating it. If you want to know the advanced tips on making this look really good then just send your requests in. HOWTO 1 – Intro Video

This is my first video in a (hopefully) huge series of tips/tricks & tutorial videos. I will take any requests that people send me on how to do something creative with a computer and respond with the video of how I would accomplish it. Hopefully this will turn out great and be a learning experience for both of us. You could go ahead and reply to any video from the series or follow @337Studios on twitter and send me a message there or even the 337 Studios Facebook fan site as well. I will take any responses and compile the best videos I can. I am even thinking of making some videos on how to play instruments as well as shooting video outside to show you whatever tips I can. StopMo is a Stopmotion and 3D short film made by five students at Supinfocom Arles in 2008. The story follows an archaeologist who “gives life back to an FX cinema studio that was buried under the ground,†resulting in a battle between a stopmotion animated King Kong and a computer animated T-Rex from Jurassic Park. There are also a few obvious references to some of our favorite films. Watch the short film after the jump.
